Hi, I'm Paktian. Glad to have you here! Shortly, I will start sharing thoughts, lessons learned, and insights into my approach to photography in a blog-style format. Mainly to inspire others but also to connect with like-minded photographers.

I graduated in mechanical engineering, and for over 10 years, I've been working in the astronautics industry, developing and building structures for spacecraft that orbit the Earth, fly towards the Moon, or even travel to outer planets like Jupiter. Photography is my way of clearing my head, balancing the analytical side of my day-to-day work, and being creative. I've been in touch with photography for a long time, took a break due to life circumstances, and restarted a few years ago. Right now, I'm mainly inside the Fujifilm universe, which does not mean I am tied to any brand. But what they offer is what fits my current needs best.
